The successful acts that have made it through the auditions return for boot camp stage of the competition at London's Wembley Arena. In small groups the acts perform live on stage and are learn straight away as to whether they’re through to the six seat challenge. Just 57 of them make it through to the next phase. The judges are given the categories they will be mentoring. Cheryl has the her girls and the six seat challenge gets underway. Lola Saunders, Chloe Jasmine, Shanay Holmes, Orla Keogh, Stephanie Nala, Monica Michael, Kayleigh Manners, Ten Senah, Emily Middlemas, Chloe O’Gorman, Lauren Platt and Kerriane Covell all attempt to impress.

The Boys and Overs take to the stage in the 6 chair challenge. First up are the boys mentored by Mel. Joe Slater, Bre Musiq, Ben Quinlan, Jake Quickenden, Jordan Morris, Danny Dearden, Geoff Mull, Charlie Martinez-Hernandez, Charlie Brown, Jack Walton and Hayden Leeman all attempt to try and impress. Next up the overs mentored by Simon. Kisela Berice, Scarlett Quinn, Ben Haenow, Raign, Stevi Ritchie, Janet Grogan, Lizzy Pattinson and Jay James all try to impress Simon.

The overs continue with the 6 chair challenge as Fleur East and Helen Fulthorpe attempt to impress Simon. It is then the groups that take to the stage. The Brooks, Blonde Electric, Pow Pow Girls, Overload, Concept and Only the Young are amongst those hoping to impress Louis.

Those that have made it through boot camp are now at the judges houses as they have one last chance to impress before the live finals get underway. First up are the Groups who make their way to Bermuda, where Louis is joined by Tulisa. Each of the groups have just one chance to try and impress. Louis selects to take Blonde Electric, Only The Young and the boy band created at boot camp through to the live finals.The boys are up next who make their way to Mexico where Mel is joined by Emma Bunton.

The boys continue to try and impress Mel and Emma in Mexico before Mel decides who to take through to the live finals. Mel then decides to take through Andrea Faustini, Paul Akister and Jake Quickenden. Simon is then joined by Sinitta and the overs in Los Angeles where they have one last chance to impress.

Dermot is back with the results of the first public vote of the series. This week there will be a double elimination. The finalists perform together live on stage. Pharrell Williams and Taylor Swift perform live on stage. Blonde Electra, Stephanie and Overload Generation are revealed as being in the bottom three. Dermot then reveals that Blonde Electra have come bottom of the public vote and are the first act to be eliminated from the competition. Overload Generation and Stephanie perform once again and after the judges are unable to agree on who should be sent home the result goes to deadlock. Dermot then reveals that Overload Generation have less public votes and are eliminated from the competition.

Dermot is back with the results of the second public vote of the series. The finalists perform together live on stage. Jessie J and Maroon 5 perform live on stage. Dermot reveals that Chloe, Stephanie and Stereo Kicks are in the bottom three. Stephanie is then revealed as having coming bottom of the public vote and becomes the third act to be eliminated from the competition. Chloe and Stereo Kicks then perform again and the judges decide to save Stereo Kicks leaving Chloe eliminated from the competition.

Dermot is back with the results of the third public vote of the series. The finalists perform together live on stage. OneRepublic and Ed Sheeran perform live on stage. Dermot reveals that Jake and Only The Young are in the bottom two and have perform again in the final showdown. The judges then decide to save Only The Young leaving Jake eliminated from the competition.

The show features the world premiere of the Band Aid 30 track and official video. Dermot reveals that Stevi and Jay are in the bottom two this week and will have to perform once again in the final showdown. The judges are then split in their decision and the result goes back to the public vote. Dermot then reveals that Jay has the least amount of public votes and is eliminated from the competition.

Dermot reveals that one act will be going home tonight. After all the acts have performed David Guetta and Emeli Sandé perform live on stage. At the end of the show Dermot reveals that Only The Young have the fewest amount of public votes and are eliminated from the competition.

The remaining finalists perform live for the ninth time hoping to impress both the judges and the viewers at home. This week they have to perform twice with one song being a festive hit and the other a song to get them through to the final.
